The DABS Social Live and Learn networking events are proving popular with people learning great lessons from our speakers and making new contacts through our group networking sessions.

Join us for our next event on Wednesday 2nd December and hear from Matt Mahatme from Lixir Drinks who started up his business with his friend Jordan Palmer who were both Newcastle University graduates and barman at the time.

Matt says “I am a 27-year-old Co-Founder of Lixir Drinks, a premium tonic water and mixer company, that are all natural, low in calories and have been mixed by bartenders. Launching in May 2018 we have gone on to win numerous awards, gaining distribution across the UK as well as into 13 European markets.

I am looking forward to talking about our journey, from inception, to launching, to where we are now. What challenges we faced as young entrepreneurs, the hurdles of launching a product-based business, how COVID-19 has affected us, and ultimately how we have overcome these obstacles to not just survive but prosper.”
